Wealthy people instinctively know one thing. No one is just going to hand you free money. Even Paris Hilton is out trying to sell perfume and CD's. The problem for the average guy is that while we want wealth, we accept poverty or middle class as a way of life. We wish for more, but we are all too comfortable settling for so much less.
How many of you reading this right now are driving your dream car? How many are living in the house that they have always wanted? And how many of you are dreading going back to your job day after day and week after week? Would you like to be able to attract money?
My guess is that most people are. Why is this? Because we keep doing the same things that produce adequate but unexciting results. And this becomes our habitual way of life until one day we retire and say too ourselves, well I guess it could be worse.
Of course it could be worse, but it also could be so much better. The more you actively pursue what you want from your life, the more likely that you are actually going to get it. And the more you start getting these things, the more you realize that you CAN have what you want.
The world would be a pretty horrible place if we were all just doomed to be mediocre. And it would be a dreadful place if we were all meant to suffer. But we are not. We can achieve more and we can have abundance and prosperity and happiness as long as we pursue it. Be a little bit more demanding of life. You might be surprised when life starts to keep up with your demands.
